Terms of Service

Associativar is a comprehensive association and club management platform designed for Portuguese sports clubs, federations, and associations. The platform provides the following services:

• Member management and registration services
• Financial management including membership fees, quotas, and payment processing
• Organização de sessões de treino e gestão de atletas
• Event planning and facility management
• Internal communication and messaging systems
• Document management and storage
• Public-facing website content management

These terms govern your use of all services provided through the Associativar platform, including web applications, mobile interfaces, and any associated APIs.

By registering for an account on Associativar, you agree to the following obligations:

Registration Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to create an account
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You must maintain and promptly update your account information
• You must not create accounts for others without their authorization

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must use strong passwords and enable additional security features when available

Account Types

Diferentes tipos de conta (Sócio, Atleta, Treinador, Gestor, Encarregado de Educação) têm permissões e responsabilidades específicas. O seu tipo de conta determina o seu nível de acesso e as funcionalidades disponíveis na plataforma.

When using Associativar, you agree to use the platform responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, and may be reported to appropriate authorities where required by law.

Platform Ownership

The Associativar platform, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Associativar and protected by Portuguese and international intellectual property laws, including the Portuguese Industrial Property Code (Código da Propriedade Industrial).

User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the platform. By uploading content, you grant Associativar a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our services.

Trademarks

The Associativar name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Associativar. You may not use these marks without prior written permission. Club logos and names uploaded by users remain the property of their respective owners.

To the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law, including the Portuguese Civil Code (Código Civil Português), Associativar's liability is limited as follows:

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Portuguese law.

As a consumer using Associativar, you are entitled to the following rights under Portuguese consumer protection law (Lei n.º 24/96):

• Right to clear and accurate information about services and pricing
• Right to quality services that meet reasonable expectations
• Right to protection against unfair contract terms
• Right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days (where applicable)
• Right to file complaints and seek redress

Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting your club administrator or using the account deletion feature in your profile settings. Upon termination:

• Your access to the platform will be revoked
• Your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and data retention requirements
• Any outstanding financial obligations must be settled

Termination by Associativar

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Your account is inactive for an extended period (as defined by your club)
• We are required to do so by law or court order
• We discontinue the service (with reasonable notice)

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution clauses.

Informal Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication with our support team or your club administrator.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

For consumer disputes, you may use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform or contact a Portuguese consumer arbitration center (Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo).
